Job Description

A fast-growing, international organisation is seeking a hands‑on Head of Accounting & Control to lead financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls across multiple entities. This is a high-impact leadership role suited to a technically strong, commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working at both strategic and operational levels. You will take ownership of month-end close, consolidated reporting, audit delivery, and the development of scalable accounting processes in a dynamic, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities Operational Accounting Oversee day-to-day finance operations (AP/AR, reconciliations, invoicing, journals, ledgers). Manage cashflow and working capital processes. Drive ERP optimisation and process automation. Develop clear documentation and scalable finance procedures. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare consolidated financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS; HGB advantageous). Manage outsourced providers where applicable. Own the external audit process and statutory reporting. Ensure tax and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. Controls & Technical Accounting Design and maintain robust internal controls and balance sheet integrity. Provide hands‑on technical accounting support across complex areas (inventory, leases, intercompany, equity, debt, restructuring). Identify and mitigate financial risks. Support due diligence and commercial decision‑making. Business Partnership Collaborate with FP&A and operational teams on budgeting and forecasting. Liaise with international advisors and stakeholders. Build and develop the finance team as the organisation scales. Skills & Experience Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 7+ years post‑qualification experience. Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS consolidated reporting (HGB desirable). Proven experience managing full audit cycles. Background in inventory‑heavy, hardware/software, or complex revenue environments advantageous. ERP experience (Microsoft Business Central preferred). Demonstrated success improving controls and building scalable processes in high‑growth settings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
