Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their First Response Team. Fantastic payrate of £37 per hour! Responsibilities of this role: Work as part of the First Response Team to align Family Help Services with the Front Door of Social Care, supporting early intervention and community-based responses. Provide expert advice, guidance, and modelling of best practice to partners, demonstrating how to assess risk, coordinate plans, and enable effective multi-agency intervention with families. Engage with families in the community to build relationships, identify strengths, and support access to appropriate services, ensuring needs are met at the right level. Support the Front Door process by receiving and triaging referrals, sharing information with partners, and identifying risk, need, and strengths to ensure timely and appropriate work transfer. Work flexibly, including outside core business hours when required, in response to service needs and urgent situations. Coach, support, and provide supervision to designated staff and students, contributing to their professional development and quality of practice. Promote high-quality, strengths-based social work practice across the service, contributing to continuous improvement and positive outcomes for children and families. Requirements of this role: Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
