Accounting Technician

Accounting Technician - Armagh - £33,000+ This role is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to develop their accounting skills within a progressive and forward-thinking company. Key Duties: Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts Overseeing purchase and sales ledger activities Project costing and ongoing margin monitoring Processing payroll Assisting with month-end close procedures Performing regular bank reconciliations Preparing and submitting VAT returns Providing general finance and accounts administration support Required Skills & Qualifications: IATI qualified (or working towards qualification) Minimum of five years experience within a similar accounting environment Strong working knowledge of Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll systems Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively High level of administrative accuracy and attention to detail Motivated, proactive approach with a strong work ethic Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Solid educational background, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) Contact Patrick via the apply now button or call - Skills: IATI Accounting Technician Payroll Accounts Payable Management Accounts
