As a Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining a wide range of platform and application-level services for end users across myriad sectors.Required skills/expertise:Strong command of GoExperience with building services on top of KubernetesExperience with building services on at least two major cloud providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with on-premise production deploymentsQualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related fieldStrong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, such as Go, Python, Rust, Java, or similar languages5+ years’ experience building highly scalable distributed systems and servicesExperience building applications in a service-oriented architectureExcellent communication and collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary and equity grantsEmployer pension contributions; UK roles include enhanced employer pension contributions, US roles include 401(k) retirement savings plan – traditional and RothPlatinum healthcare benefit; For US roles, we offer comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans at little to no cost to you.
