Mergers and Acquisitions Director

We are working with an established international investment bank seeking to hire an M&A Director to join its London team. The platform advises corporates, financial sponsors and entrepreneurs on domestic and cross-border transactions across Europe and internationally. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in transaction execution, client relationship management and origination, while working closely with senior leadership and sector teams across the firm. What you will do Lead execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from mandate through to completion Manage day-to-day client interaction and act as a primary contact on live processes Oversee financial modelling, valuation analysis and preparation of marketing materials Coordinate internal teams and external advisors throughout transaction processes Support and drive origination efforts, including idea generation and client pitching Mentor and develop Associates and VPs within the team Expected profile Experience in Investment Banking, with significant M&A execution exposure Strong track record of leading mid-market or large-cap transactions Experience managing junior teams and multiple workstreams simultaneously Strong financial modelling and technical capabilities Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in contributing to growth initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
