Job Title: Occupational Therapist (School-Based)
Location: London (across multiple sites)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
Contract: Term Time Only | Permanent | Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based therapy team, supporting children and young people across our London sites. This is a term-time-only position, offering an excellent work–life balance while making a meaningful impact on students’ development and wellbeing.
You will work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, families, and external professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions that enable students to access learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions within school settings
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aligned with EHCP outcomes
Provide direct therapy sessions (1:1 and group) focusing on sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, functional independence, and emotional regulation
Contribute to annual reviews and multidisciplinary meetings
Offer training, guidance, and practical strategies to school staff and families
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards
About You
Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
Experience working with children and young people, ideally within school or SEN settings
Strong understanding of sensory processing, neurodevelopmental conditions, and EHCP frameworks
Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
Ability to travel across London sites
