Children’s Residential Homes | Devon Full-Time: 36 hours per week (rota-based) Salary: £28,275 – £41,184 per annum Frontline Social Care, part of Aetheria Group , is recruiting Residential Care Support Workers for two Ofsted-registered children’s residential homes in Devon, located within ten minutes of one another. Opportunities are available to work across both homes. This is a regulated, safeguarding-critical role within children’s residential care supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. About Frontline Social Care Frontline Social Care delivers trauma-informed, therapeutically structured residential services to children and young people in partnership with English Local Authorities. Our model of practice is trauma and attachment informed, outward-looking, and goal orientated. It is supported by senior operational leadership and Consultant Clinical Psychology oversight. Safeguarding, governance, and regulatory compliance underpin all aspects of our service delivery. We operate within robust quality assurance frameworks aligned to the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and associated Quality Standards. The Role As a Residential Support Worker (Day Shift), you will: Provide safe, consistent, and nurturing care within a structured residential environment. Support emotional regulation, daily routines, education engagement, and independence skills. Build appropriate and professional relationships that promote stability and trust. Contribute to behaviour support planning and therapeutic interventions. Maintain clear, accurate and analytical daily records in line with regulatory expectations. Work collaboratively with social workers, education providers, clinicians and safeguarding professionals. Participate in supervision, team meetings and mandatory training. This role requires emotional resilience, professional boundaries, and the ability to remain calm and regulated during periods of challenge. Contracted Hours & Salary This is a full-time position based on 36 hours per week , worked across a structured rota including weekends and bank holidays. Salary range: £28,275 – £41,184 per annum. Salary is determined by: Qualifications (including Level 3 Diploma status) Experience within children’s residential care Demonstrated competency and progression Additional hours and overtime worked across the year Overtime, bank holiday enhancements and additional shifts are paid in accordance with company policy and may increase total annual earnings within the advertised range. Who We Are Looking For Experienced Residential Practitioners Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or Substantial experience within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home. Strong safeguarding awareness and professional recording standards. Understanding of trauma-informed and attachment-aware practice. Career Development Applicants Experience working with children or young people (for example: youth work, SEN support, mentoring, teaching assistant roles, sports coaching, care work, or relevant voluntary experience). Demonstrable emotional maturity, resilience and commitment to professional development. Willingness to enrol on and complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within required regulatory timescales (funded by the company). Essential Requirements Applicants must be aged 21 years or over . (This requirement reflects the level of responsibility within a regulated children’s residential setting and insurance requirements relating to driving and safeguarding duties.) Full UK driving licence. Willingness to work rota-based day shifts including weekends and bank holidays. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain). Right to work in the UK.
