This position offers the opportunity to build your personal brand and client base, working autonomously in a dynamic environment. *Responsibilities* * Provide customised hair styling and barbering services to clients, ensuring their individual preferences are met. * Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in your workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on styles and treatments. * Manage your own appointments, scheduling sessions efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and business growth. * Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, encouraging repeat business and referrals. * Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products within the hairdressing and barbering industry. * Handle all aspects of your business operations, including marketing, invoicing, and maintaining supplies. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in hair styling and barbering with a portfolio demonstrating your skills. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English. * Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide tailored advice. * Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing or barbering are desirable but not essential if demonstrated through experience. * Ability to work independently with organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently. * A friendly demeanour combined with professionalism to create a welcoming environment for clients. * Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards building your client base and developing your career as an independent practitioner.
