4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsA FTSE 100 global services business is seeking an experienced Interim Legal Director – M&A to support its dynamic international legal team. With a track record of over 200 acquisitions across Europe, Asia, and Latin America in the past decade, this is an exceptional opportunity to contribute at the forefront of complex, cross-border deal activity. This role is ideal for a commercially minded M&A lawyer who enjoys fast-paced environments and thrives on strategic collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead or support on legal due diligence processes for domestic and international acquisitionsAdvise on transaction structuring, risk allocation, and governance protocolsNegotiate and draft share purchase agreements (SPAs), asset purchase agreements (APAs), and related documentsProvide legal support on post-completion integration and disputesCollaborate with internal M&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams across regionsManage relationships with external legal advisers as requiredAct as a strategic partner to the business, balancing commercial priorities with legal riskContribute to continuous improvement of M&A legal processes and templatesKey RequirementsUK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in M&AStrong transactional background, ideally with exposure to multi-jurisdictional dealsComfortable operating autonomously and providing strategic legal input at senior levelsIn-house M&A experience or secondments strongly preferredExcellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsWhy Join This CompanyFTSE 100 business with a global presence and strong acquisition pipelineBonus scheme and comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare and life coverWork within a respected legal team that values collaboration and high performanceContribute to a business that delivers critical environmental and public health solutions across 90+ countriesIf you're interested, click "Apply now", or for more information, please reach out to Emily Wearing at emily@heriotbrown.com.
