Regional Manager

Regional Manager - Yorkshire Regions / North East - with travel - Sal £60,000 to £65,000 DOE North Bay Group Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of Residential and/or Nursing services across the North East & Yorkshire Region. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially aware, quality-driven professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding care while ensuring operational and financial excellence. The Regional Manager holds overall responsibility for sustaining high-performing homes that provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. You will ensure services consistently meet regulatory standards, achieve strong occupancy, and operate efficiently — while building meaningful relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, residents, and families. Key Responsibilities Regulatory & Quality Leadership Ensure full compliance with Care Quality Commission requirements and all external regulatory bodies Lead action plans following inspections to improve outcomes Prevent breaches of the Health and Social Care Act and maintain robust governance Oversee quality monitoring schemes and regulatory reporting Investigate complaints and liaise with registration authorities where required Operational & Performance Management Direct line management of Home Managers, including monthly supervisions, audits, and development support Review staffing levels to ensure safe and effective care delivery Monitor implementation of policies, procedures, and record keeping Attend Local Authority, safeguarding, and regional meetings as required Provide on-call/weekend support on a rotational basis Financial & Commercial Accountability Drive and maintain high occupancy levels Ensure financial efficiency across allocated services Manage budgets and KPIs to deliver strong financial performance Support fee negotiations with purchasing authorities and families (led by MD) People & Culture Ensure effective recruitment and retention Promote strong communication across teams Foster a caring, professional environment that meets residents’ physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs Minimum Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience managing 4+ Residential and/or Nursing services as a Regional Manager Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation Demonstrable experience in financial and budget management Proven leadership and people management capability Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently About You We are looking for a tenacious, passionate, and commercially minded leader who: Builds meaningful and productive working relationships Drives continuous improvement and accountability Leads with integrity and professionalism Is confident managing performance, compliance, and change Why Join North Bay Group Ltd?
