As a Social Media Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our digital presence - bringing the biggest sporting and cultural moments to life across our platforms. You’ll shape how fans experience Betway online, ensuring our voice is bold, engaging, and always ahead of the game.
We require a dynamic, innovative and driven candidate, who is a sports guru capable of cementing us as a thought leader in the industry. The perfect candidate will also understand the casino product and be able to turn insights into actions and identify key opportunities to amplify Betway’s presence.
Betway has a roster of global ambassadors and partnerships that you will be working closely with.
What you’ll be doing
As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
Strategic leadership across all social media platform
Implementing the global social media strategy across sports and casino verticals
Assisting the Head of Social in expanding Super Group’s social ecosystem
Aligning content and campaigns with broader marketing goals and brand positioning
Content & campaign management – utilising productivity tools and smart planning to deliver relevant, timely and engaging content including the monthly grid of content
Boosting and paid campaign support to achieve business objectives and KPIs
Curating and scheduling high-impact content across all platforms (Meta, Snapchat, X, TikTok, YouTube)
Collaborating with design and wider social media teams to produce engaging multimedia assets
Leading real-time and reactive coverage of major sporting events and cultural moments.
Community Management – Daily ‘fan-first’, human approach to solving problems and nurturing our audience. Working with the Customer Service team to enable an efficient system to resolve issues fast
Reporting and tracking KPIs – Collecting and analysing performance data to optimise the strategy for maximum performance. Providing actionable recommendations based on insights and expertise
Stakeholder collaboration with global teams
Brand Guardian – working closely with the Compliance and Legal teams to ensure that output is always compliant with the relevant responsible gaming standards
Developing influencer marketing strategies and content - Liaising with influencers, partnerships and external agencies
Maintaining brand values, tone of voice and consistency across all social media channels
Always upholding and protecting Betway’s brand integrity
Amplifying communication around brand activations, events, sponsorships, and key initiatives across social media channels for audiences in Mexico and LATAM
Adapting global brand concepts and tailor them for Spanish‑speaking audiences—primarily Mexico—including copywriting and English–Spanish / Spanish–English translation
Implementing strategies to grow our social channels, focusing on follower growth and engagement rate
Amplifying, aligning, and coordinating blog content to ensure consistent integration and distribution across social media platforms
Curating and leading social activations around key events
Ensuring consistency between social media content strategy and paid social strategy for a full-funnel approach
Aligning, standardizing, and translating acquisition campaign concepts, promotions, and CRM communications into social‑ready content for our organic audiences
Conducting post-campaign performance analysis and evaluation
Providing regular performance reports to key stakeholders
Staying updated on industry trends, innovations and technological advancements.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table
The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals & KPIs
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
Fluency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written)
Proven success managing social media for a B2C brand, ideally in sports, entertainment, gaming or betting
Deep understanding of Mexican sports culture and fan behaviour
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics platforms and reporting
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively, alongside a flair for engaging digital audiences
Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms
Proven record of participating in successful social media content/campaigns for a brand
Experience in conceptualising content ideas and briefing creatives to a design team
Understanding of influencer marketing and management
Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some the following skills:
In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
Familiarity with Mexican advertising and gaming regulations
Creative flair with a sharp eye for trends and audience insights
Passion for sports and casino gaming
Experience executing paid campaigns
Degree in marketing or related online qualification
Meta, Snapchat and other social media platforms
Understanding of online marketing technical aspects (e.g., tracking, analytics tools)
Strategic thinking with hands‑on execution ability and good organisational skills
