Registered Manager New Childrens Residential Home (EBD / LD) Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester Salary: £50,000

- £60,000 (DOE) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Were working alongside a new and ambitious childrens residential care provider preparing to open their first childrens home in Oldham, and theyre now seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service through registration and beyond.
The home will support young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD).
While the provider has a clear vision around quality and child-centred care, they are committed to giving the Registered Manager genuine autonomy to shape the homes culture, model of care, and day-to-day practice.
The Responsible Individual is already in place and will provide hands-on, practical support throughout the Ofsted registration process and ongoing operation of the service.
The Role As Registered Manager, you will take the lead on: Submitting and managing the Ofsted registration application Preparing the home for registration and inspection Developing the Statement of Purpose, policies, and procedures Recruiting, onboarding, and leading the staff team Embedding high standards of safeguarding and compliance Creating a nurturing, therapeutic environment where young people can thrive This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who enjoys building services from the ground up and wants real influence over how a home is run.
About You Were keen to speak with candidates who have: Experience as a Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up A solid understanding xbpsjku of Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and the Ofsted framework Experience supporting young people with EBD and/or LD Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards) A values-led, confident, and proactive leadership style Why Apply?
