About the opportunity

We’re supporting a pioneering engineering business developing next-generation marine propulsion systems that merge mechanical design with electrification and sustainable energy.

We’re hiring Mechanical Engineers and Senior Mechanical Engineers to join their growing design team - people who thrive on solving complex challenges, excel in precision engineering, and want to make a real impact on the future of sustainable transport.

What you’ll do

• Take mechanical systems from concept to detailed design and manufacture using 3D CAD (CATIA / 3DX or similar).
• Design and integrate precision electromechanical assemblies for high-performance applications.
• Optimise for weight, cost, and efficiency while meeting certification and durability targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on materials, manufacturing, and testing.
• At senior level: own sub-system delivery, lead requirements capture, and mentor other engineers.

What you’ll bring

• Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3D CAD experience (CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX).
• Strong understanding of DFM/DFA, materials, and mechanical analysis.
• Background in marine, motorsport, aerospace, or EV sectors preferred.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and passion for clean technology.
