Medical Advisor / Disease Area Specialist (Final Signatory) – Innovative Medicines
We’re partnering with a leading global biopharmaceutical company to appoint a Medical Advisor / Disease Area Specialist within Innovative Medicines. This is a strategic Medical Affairs role with final signatory responsibility, providing scientific leadership across therapy areas and supporting early and late-stage assets.
Key Responsibilities
Provide scientific and clinical leadership across designated therapy areas
Drive and execute UK medical strategy and research plans for products and pipeline
Act as nominated final medical signatory, ensuring compliance with the ABPI Code and internal procedures
Provide medical leadership for New Products Planning and early asset assessment
Lead medical input into HTA activities in partnership with HEOR
Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory and Field Medical
Requirements
Advanced scientific or clinical degree (Physician or UK-registered Pharmacist preferred)
Medical Affairs experience across early, mid and late-stage lifecycle
Strong UK Code of Practice knowledge and final signatory experience
Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment with excellent communication skills
