You’ll lead the finance team and work cross-functionally to support project delivery, commercial success, and facilitate their continued growth. Key Responsibilities Own and develop the full finance function to support scalable growth Deliver accurate financial reporting, KPIs, dashboards and insights Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial scenario planning Oversee project P&Ls and support financial modelling for proposals Ensure revenue recognition aligns with accounting standards Drive cash flow forecasting and working capital management Manage invoicing, collections, banking relationships and treasury Strengthen finance integration with project teams Handle AP/AR, VAT returns, expenses, and statutory compliance Liaise with external accountants and auditors for year-end and tax matters Implement and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies What We’re Looking For Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) Experience in an SME environment Background in consulting or professional services Advanced Excel skills Project accounting knowledge Understanding of UK tax regulations including R&D credits Ready to Take the Lead?
