I'm supporting a respected public-sector organisation in the appointment of an experienced Labourer to join their property maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong practical skills who takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work for local communities. About the Role The successful candidate will carry out a range of grounds maintenance and small construction tasks across residential and public spaces. Daily work may include: Assisting bricklayers and grounds teams in maintenance or small construction projects Laying flagstones, brick paving and concrete paths Creating hard-standing areas Erecting timber fencing using timber and concrete posts Pointing brickwork, building steps, and repairing gates and timber fencing Using mobile devices (PDA/smartphone) for job management and reporting Providing a consistently high standard of customer service when interacting with tenants or the public Essential Criteria Applicants must have: Minimum 3 years' relevant labouring experience within maintenance or construction Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience with flagging, paving, fencing, concrete and associated tasks A strong customer-service mindset Ability to use mobile working devices A current valid UK driving licence A dependable, adaptable and flexible approach to work Desirable Criteria Experience within the social housing sector Category C driving licence Valid CSR Card For further information on this vacancy, or any other Public Sector job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Glenn Roberts in the strictest confidence IND02
