We are currently hiring for a teaching assistant with SEN experience, particularly experience specialising in Autism. The role will involve providing support to pupils with Autism of both primary and secondary ages and can be on either a part- or full-time basis. Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This role is during school hours. Responsibilities include: To plan and deliver learning activities to children and young people, differentiating, modifying and using specialist activities and approaches according to children or young people's responses/needs. To support students with ASD to fulfil their academic potential. To support all pupils, and particularly those with ASD to play a full role in the life of the school, building their confidence and self-esteem To be involved in keeping records and evaluating identified students progress. To assist with the development and implementation of support plans. To prepare students beforehand for a task, e.g. pre-teaching To supervise practical tasks. To carry out structured classroom assessment/observation and feedback outcomes. Assist scholars with physical needs.
