We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every individual can excel and contribute their unique perspectives to better serve our clients.Role Overview: Our London office is expanding, and we are seeking a talented attorney to join our dynamic team as an Associate General Counsel for Investment Banking and Capital Markets, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel. You will play a crucial role in advising on complex legal matters related to securities and M&A transactions. You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, providing strategic legal guidance and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.**Key Responsibilities:*** Collaborate with the Deputy General Counsel and our other attorneys to provide comprehensive legal support to the firm’s investment banking and capital markets businesses. Draft, review and negotiate engagement letters, non-disclosure agreements and transaction documents. Participate in firm committees, such as the Capital Commitment Committee and Opinion Committee. Monitor and analyse relevant regulatory and legislative changes and requirements. Work with internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth transaction processes. Manage relationships with outside counsel and oversee external legal expenses. Assist with special projects, third-party matters and ancillary litigation matters as required.**Candidate Profile:*** Self-motivated, detail-oriented problem-solvers with high work standards. Excellent communicators, both orally and in writing, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Capable of exercising discretion, maturity, and ethical integrity in all dealings. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Relevant experience advising on both securities and M&A transactions. Large law firm or in-house investment bank experience strongly preferred.
