HGV Mechanic - Lisburn Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm with Saturdays on a rota Our client is a long-established and highly respected transport company with over 50 years of experience in the transport and cold chain industry. With a large fleet of Trucks & Trailers, we are recruiting a HGV Mechanic to join the fleet workshop team, ensuring vehicles and trailers are maintained to a high standard and road worthy. Competitive salary in the £39 - 41k range. You'll be joining a progressive forward thinking company who are continually investing in their people and facilities. The Role Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs Diagnose and resolve faults to ensure vehicle reliability and compliance Fit and replace vehicle parts as required Attend roadside breakdowns when necessary Maintain accurate service and repair documentation Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standards Communicate progress and repair updates with the transport and management teams What we are looking for Level 3 in HGV Repair or equivalent (Light Vehicle / Plant) Minimum 2-3 years' experience working on heavy vehicles or trucks & trailers Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, mechanical components and diagnostics HGV driving licence is desirable but not essential Interested?
