Contentious Construction Solicitor

We are working with an esteemed Scottish law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Construction Disputes team within their Edinburgh office. The Role The successful candidate will join a renowned Construction department, advising clients on a diverse range of contentious construction matters across the UK. The candidate’s duties will include negotiating settlements, reviewing and providing opinions on construction contracts and supporting documentation, advising the client of the merits of their position and providing strategic advice, and drafting pleadings and submissions. The candidate’s duties will encompass both the public and private sector, working on contentious claims and insurance disputes across a range of formal dispute proceedings, including mediation, adjudication, litigation, and arbitration. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
