St Gregory’s Primary School, Bolton In partnership with The Supply Register & STOCCAT Schools St Gregory’s Primary School in Bolton is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a long-term temporary basis. This position is being recruited through The Supply Register, in partnership with STOCCAT schools. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed individual who has proven experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and is confident working both 1:1 and with small groups. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and individual learning plans. Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience working with children with SEN (essential). Strong understanding of a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH). Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
