Vacancy for Head of Cataloguing, Taxonomy and Data at The National Archives (UK) 6 November 2022 London Full-Time Job summary The National Archives is one of the world’s leading archives. Our ambition is to be an archive for everyone - inclusive, entrepreneurial and disruptive. The role of Head of Cataloguing, Taxonomy and Data leads and continues the transformation of the Catalogue and Taxonomy Department from its original analogue and operational focus into a digitally minded and thriving multidisciplinary team that provides intellectual control for TNA's collection regardless of medium. Person specification This is an important leadership role at The National Archives. You will be a senior archivist, able to operate at the centre of the institution’s work. Leading a group of expert professionals, you will ensure the archive has intellectual control of its holdings.
