What’s on Offer Competitive salary up to £49,000 Enhancements circa £3,000 (OTE up to £52,000) 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (33 days total) 4-day working week (37.5 hours) GPhC fees paid Enhanced pension scheme Private medical insurance Gym membership Online GP service Cycle to Work scheme Season ticket loan Excellent career progression opportunities Key Responsibilities Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and therapeutic drug monitoring Optimise medicines use through evidence-based interventions across acute and long-term conditions Support prescribing decisions through clinical assessment, risk evaluation, and formulary guidance Lead medicines optimisation initiatives aligned with national and local guidelines Contribute to the development and review of clinical guidelines, protocols, and policies Monitor medicines usage, governance, and safety incidents, participating in audits, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives Work collaboratively across Theatres, Wards, and the Outpatients Dispensary to ensure safe and effective medicines management About You We are keen to speak with Pharmacists who: Are GPhC registered with at least one year of post-registration experience Have experience within hospital, primary care, or community pharmacy Possess strong clinical knowledge and experience in medicines optimisation Have a solid understanding of governance, audits, and quality standards Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills Are confident working independently and within a multidisciplinary team Have experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues Are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care You will be organised, resilient under pressure, and confident influencing others while maintaining the highest professional standards.
