Milling Plant Operator Job Ref No: WS/MPO/02/26 The role is based in Tandragee and will involve working three days on three days off rotational shift pattern a combination of days and nights with an average of 42 hours per week. The Role: Operate the oat milling plant efficiently and safely during your shift; Keep the plant clean and organised by following the mill cleaning schedule; Maintain accurate records for quality control, safety checks, and shift reports; Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery to avoid downtime; Ensure continuous product flow and minimal disruption to production; Conduct quality checks and record operational data accurately. The Person: Computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Office; Strong mechanical aptitude or engineering background; Previous experience as a process controller, plant operator, machine minder, or technician; Excellent record-keeping and administration skills; Effective communication and the ability to work well in a team environment. Preference will be given to candidates with: Familiarity with SCADA systems or other automated control platforms; Strong mechanical aptitude or engineering background; A Forklift licence; Food related qualification e.g. HACCP and Food Hygiene; In return all employees will have access to a Healthcare Plan (includes children up to the age of 18), Company Pension with Life Assurance and an active Health and Well Being programme.
