As a Principal Consultant, you will be accountable for the successful delivery and business outcomes of complex transformation programmes. You will set the strategic direction for delivery, provide senior leadership to joint Credera–client teams, and operate as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesHere’s what you will doBusiness Transformation consultants work with Credera clients and colleagues, leveraging technology to translate business ambition and intent into effective change. As a proven transformation specialist, you’ll help clients achieve their goals through a combination of advice and hands on delivery. Typically, you will lead or be intrinsic to joint client teams focused on achieving successful delivery and transformation. Internally, you will be a key contributor to the Programme Leadership capability within Credera where you will deepen the strength of our collective business transformation knowledge, develop resources and help drive our growth through client extensions and bid support.HoursBased out of any of our UK offices, this is a permanent role within our Management Consulting Function. At Credera, we operate a flexible hybrid working model. This requires 3 days per week working onsite - either at client site (as required) or in your local Credera office (London, Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle). We value collaboration and client impact, so our hybrid model is designed to strike a balance between flexibility, in-person connection, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. We are also open to conversations around flexible or part-time arrangements.QualificationsResponsibilities and SkillsOur experienced Business Transformation consultants must have strong business competence with a pragmatic approach to delivering complex solutions. Consultants need to have a combination of project and programme management, client management, business development and hands-on transformation skills; often gained while working for a top tier or boutique consulting business. Responsibilities will include:Representing Credera as a senior leader, building trusted relationships, demonstrating credibility, and ensuring Credera’s standards, ways of working and values are upheld.Working within large, or leading, consulting teams to deliver agreed scope. Leading significant delivery scopes or multiple workstreams, acting as the escalation point for senior stakeholders and ensuring clarity on tradeoffs, decisions and delivery implications.Managing transformation resources (i.e. people, budget, technology) effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget and reporting as required against milestones and metricsShape complex transformation strategies, using structured methods and data driven insight to analyse processes, identify opportunities, and design practical and scalable change solutions.Identifying issues and risks, and pro-actively problem solving and mitigating risks.Collaborate with technology, engineering and architecture teams to maximise business value from technology-enabled transformation, ensuring alignment between business intent and solution designLead, coach and develop people, providing regular guidance, mentoring and performance feedback, and role-modelling Credera’s approach to capability building.Identifying and engaging with users, team and stakeholders to address concerns, build consensus, and ensure buy-inChampioning continuous improvement and innovation, refining delivery practices, optimising team efficiency, and introducing approaches that improve client outcomesWho you areAn experienced transformation leader with a proven track record delivering largescale, multi-stakeholder programmes and holding accountability for outcomes. You will have significant management consultancy experience or transferrable industry experience.You’ll display a high degree of competency in business transformation delivery and across one of more of our core capabilities of:Target operating model design and implementationBusiness change management and communicationsYou are perceptive, personable, culturally sensitive and demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence.
