Hybrid working 2 days a week 35 days annual leave Early finish Fridays I am working on behalf of our client who is recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their Finance and Corporate Services team based in Belfast. Reporting to the Finance Business Partners, you will support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, analysis, and insight across the organisation. About the Job The Assistant Finance Business Partner will play a key role within the finance function, supporting strategic decision-making and contributing to organisational performance. You will be responsible for completing and assisting with: Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial commentary. Assisting with annual budgeting, forecasting cycles, and financial planning across divisions. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely reporting. Analysing and interpreting financial data, providing clear explanations to non-finance colleagues. Contributing to financial reviews, performance monitoring, and risk analysis. Supporting the implementation of new financial systems, tools, and processes. Experience, Skills and Attributes Qualifications: Actively studying or interested in pursuing CIMA / ACCA / AAT OR Minimum of two years experience in a finance role (e.g., Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator) Experience: Assisting with preparation of management or statutory accounts Handling and analysing financial data using Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups) Communicating financial information clearly to non-finance teams Other Requirements: Flexibility to work across locations Full current driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required) Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively and use initiative Passion for supporting the companies vision and values For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQin complete confidence.
