Insurance Solicitor (ROI Qualification)

Insurance Defence Solicitor (2 - 6 PQE) Belfast A well-established and highly regarded Belfast law firm is seeking to recruit an Insurance Defence Solicitor (2 - 6 years PQE) to join its growing litigation team. The firm has a strong reputation for acting on behalf of insurers and corporate clients across a wide range of liability and insurance disputes across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to join a busy and experienced team handling high-quality cross-border defence litigation work. The Role The successful candidate will work on a varied caseload of insurance defence matters, including: Employers Liability (EL) claims Public Liability (PL) claims Motor and road traffic accident claims Credit hire disputes Personal injury and property damage claims Insurance coverage and liability disputes You will manage files from initial instruction through to resolution, including drafting pleadings, liaising with insurer clients, instructing experts and preparing matters for court. The Candidate Qualified Solicitor with 26 years PQE Qualification in the Republic of Ireland is essential (dual qualification in NI would be advantageous) Experience in defendant personal injury or insurance defence litigation Exposure to EL/PL, motor claims or credit hire work would be advantageous Strong case management, organisational and communication skills The Opportunity This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-respected litigation practice advising insurer clients on a range of cross-border liability matters.
