Salary: £53,000 - £58,000 + overtime available Shifts: 4 on 4 off night shift Commutable from: Sawbridgeworth, Bishop's Stortford, Stansted Mountfitchet, Great Dunmow, Harlow, Takeley, Hertford, Ware, Braintree, Epping, Chelmsford, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Stevenage, St Albans, Cambridge, Colchester, Brentwood, Luton Are you a multi-skilled engineer, maintenance engineer, or shift engineer looking for your next move in manufacturing? We are partnering with a market-leading FMCG company, working within a highly skilled and fast-paced engineering team during the night shift. Key responsibilities: * Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond efficiently to breakdowns to maximise equipment uptime * Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on a variety of equipment * Use maintenance systems to record activities, planned maintenance, and track KPIs * Work effectively with external contractors and production teams to ensure smooth night operations * Ensure full compliance with food safety, environmental, and health & safety standards * Assist with continuous improvement initiatives Key skills & experience: * Time-served engineer or relevant Level 3 engineering qualification * Experience with valves across water, air, and production lines (beneficial) * Previous maintenance or engineering experience within FMCG / manufacturing * Good communication and problem-solving skills * High attention to detail and strong health & safety awareness * Flexibility to support additional shifts if required * PLC fault finding or diagnostic skills If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please contact Alexa or Oli on As you know over here at Zest we like to do things properly and always want to keep you, the candidate in the loop. xbpsjku Applying to this 'one of a kind' role you give Zest permission to hold your information.
