Complex Needs Teaching Assistant: Location - SK8 (Cheadle) Pay - £475-£550 per week, depending on experience Start date - 09/03/2026 or ASAP Contract Type - Temp To Perm Prospero Teaching are currently working with a large SEN provision in Cheadle (SK8) to recruit for kind, compassionate Learning Support Assistants. The role is full-time and a temp to perm contract. The school is a specialist provision, supporting pupils aged between 4-19 with complex needs. As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, offering both academic and emotional support Maintain regular communication with the class teacher and other teaching staff to monitor progress and development Create and implement Education, Health Care Plans (EHCPs) Assist with personal care and manual handling The Ideal Candidate: Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided) Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs within a school/setting setting A calm, compassionate approach To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional references Other If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
