Join to apply for the Legal Counsel (Employment) role at NTT Global Data Centers2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Legal Counsel (Employment) role at NTT Global Data CentersAs our Legal Counsel - Employment (m/f/d), you will work closely with the regional HR team to advise on a number of employee and policy related matters, ensuring timely, business-focused, and relevant advice to stakeholders.What you will doProvide general legal support to the HR team on employment-related mattersDevelop and implement best practices and policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations at local and international levelsDraft a variety of employment-related documents, templates, and HR policiesDefine and regularly provide training to HR team on processes, regulatory updates, and best practices, in coordination with other team members across regionsSupport internal employee relations investigation team by providing guidelines for each matter and on-going support to bring each investigation to a close with a clear recommendationManage employment-related litigation, including tracking of matters, budget consultations and management of external counsel, and internal stakeholder managementProvide regular reports on status of employment issues being dealt withWork is done independently and reviewed at critical pointsPerforms such legal work as may be assigned by the Vice President – Global LegalWhat we are looking forApplies experience and professional knowledge to develop and resolve complex issues in creative ways, to deliver distilled and robust legal and commercial adviseStrong and calm decision-maker, handles unforeseen issuesInteracts with internal and external stakeholders calmly under pressureStrong experience in contract and policy draftingStrong experience in employment law (ideally in-house)Developed business acumen, and the ability to combine legal and business analysis and judgment in a practical mannerRecognizes cultural norms and practices in differing target regionsEnglish language as a must have (plus another European language as highly desirable)Good command of standard IT platformsCurrent member of the legal bar in good standing with governing organization for counselLLB Bachelor’s degree in law, Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school, or equivalentRelevant industry or in-house experienceWhat we offer youAn agile company culture with short decision-making paths and plenty of opportunities to show personal initiativeFlexible working time models and mobile working (depending on your role)Allowance for the use of public transport and job bikesAllowance for the use of health and wellnessIndividual training and development opportunitiesNumerous other additional benefits such as birthday vouchers, employee advisory program, employee referral scheme, lunch allowance, company events, etc.Note: Please submit your application in English.We look forward to hearing from you!About the Global Data Centers division of NTT DATANTT Global Data Centers is ranked as one of the top three leaders worldwide by IDC in their Colocation and Interconnection Services MarketScape, spanning more than 20 countries and regions including North America, Europe, Africa, India and APAC.As a neutral operator, we offer access to multiple cloud providers, a large variety of Internet Exchanges and telecommunication network providers including our own IPv6 compliant, tier 1 global IP network.
