Joiner / Mould Maker Location: Near Ballymena (Workshop-Based) Contract: Permanent, Full-time The Role Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Joiner / Mould Maker to join their established Joinery Team within a busy precast concrete manufacturing environment. This role involves the production of high-quality timber moulds in line with technical drawings and daily production targets. You will work as part of a team to ensure all moulds are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with Health & Safety and Quality standards. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role suited to someone who enjoys working to precise specifications within a structured production setting. Key Responsibilities Manufacture timber moulds to specification and production plans Interpret and work from technical drawings accurately Select and prepare correct materials for mould construction Operate joinery tools and workshop equipment safely Ensure all moulds meet required quality standards before release Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements Maintain a clean and organised work environment Communicate effectively with team members and Line Manager Contribute positively to achieving daily and weekly production targets Essential Criteria Joinery qualification or previous experience within a joinery / mould-making environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience working to production targets and deadlines Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures (CSR desirable) Understanding of quality standards and their practical application Strong teamwork and communication skills Positive, proactive attitude within a production team Working Hours Monday Friday 06:00am 15:00pm or 07:00am 16:00pm 32 48 hours per week (depending on production requirements) Flexibility required for overtime and occasional Saturday working Whats on Offer Competitive salary 30 days holidays (including statutory holidays) Company Performance Related Pay (PRP) scheme Private Healthcare scheme Company sick pay scheme Pension scheme Life insurance policy Cycle to work scheme Employee referral scheme AXA insurance discount This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and quality-driven manufacturing business offering long-term stability and strong employee benefits.
