Haematology Consultant (Long-term / Permanent) | Bath | ASAP Start We’re recruiting a Consultant Haematologist for an ASAP start in Bath , available on a long-term or permanent basis. This is a senior post within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, with a strong focus on high-quality clinical care, service development, and education. The role You’ll work in a senior consultant capacity , supporting the haematology service across inpatient and outpatient settings, and contributing to laboratory and transfusion activities. Key responsibilities include: Provide senior clinical leadership covering ward referrals and outpatient clinics Contribute to laboratory work and clinical-lab liaison where appropriate Lead and participate in MDT meetings Oversee and supervise Junior Doctors , providing mentoring and support as needed Deliver transfusion medicine activities , including: Transfusion oversight and clinical input Team meetings and service collaboration Education sessions for general medical staff About you GMC registered with appropriate specialist registration (or eligibility) Confident working independently at consultant level Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative MDT approach Interest or experience in transfusion medicine and staff education is highly valued What’s on offer Long-term contract or permanent appointment ASAP start Bath-based role with an excellent quality of life and strong clinical teams Interested?
