Business Development Manager – IT Recruitment Sales Birmingham (4 days per week in office) £30,000 – £40,000 base DOE uncapped commission | No sponsorship available This opportunity is directly with VIQU IT Recruitment and is a pure sales role focused on outbound new business generation. If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below. This is not a 360 recruitment consultant position. Instead, it is a dedicated Business Development role targeting new logos within the tech and IT market. The Role – Business Development Manager (Cold Outreach Focus) As a BDM, you will take ownership of generating new client relationships through proactive outbound activity. This role will heavily focus on cold outreach, opening doors with IT leaders, and converting conversations into long-term recruitment partnerships. Key responsibilities: High-volume cold calling and outbound outreach to IT Directors, Heads of Technology and hiring managers Generating new business opportunities within the IT and tech space Pitching IT recruitment and talent solutions to prospective clients Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to signed terms Building a strong, consistent pipeline of new business Working closely with delivery teams to ensure successful service execution This role is ideal for a salesperson who thrives on cold outreach, enjoys winning new business and is confident selling a service within the technology sector. Requirements Proven experience in a Business Development, SDR, BDE or new business sales role Must have sold technology solutions or IT services (IT recruitment experience highly desirable) Confident and comfortable with cold calling and proactive outreach Strong objection handling and closing ability Target-driven, resilient and commercially motivated Why Join VIQU IT Recruitment?
