Head of IT - Midlands - £75k to £85k pa depending on experience plus benefits

Salary: £75k to £85k pa depending on experience plus benefits. Our client is looking for a Head of IT to lead the support of existing and development of new systems and technologies required to support Business development and growth. Responsibilities Management of the Development, Infrastructure and Implementation Team. Budget Planning and Revenue Management. Lead and manage the client’s capability to ensure robust system stability and development of a fit-for-purpose support strategy. Monitor and report on performance and progress against the IT strategy and operational performance, producing monthly performance reports to various boards. Plan, organise, and manage operations and employees to ensure the stable operation and resilience of the organisation’s IT infrastructure. Ensure delivery of the design, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of the network, server, telephony and desktop infrastructures. Lead the team to ensure excellent customer service is provided to all internal and external customers. Lead the budget setting process for IT and ensure that financial implications are considered for all initiatives. Provide expertise in the areas of development methodology and service delivery. Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/regulations at all times. Qualifications Excellent team management and leadership skills with experience of managing a department of at least circa 30 staff. Significant vendor and supplier management experience. Excellent analytical, numerate skills and an attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to plan and prioritise and work to tight timelines.
