Are you an ironworker and do you have a passion for steel? Do you enjoy contributing to the construction of ships, or assembling large steel structures? Then this vacancy is for you.At DB Work, you are in the right place as a metalworker or ironworker. You can make a difference at various work locations with your technical insight and craftsmanship. One moment you may be working on assembling the hull (casco) of a luxury yacht, and the next you may be welding sections for a large cruise ship or working vessel.You may also find yourself in a place where steel structures for mechanical engineering or the offshore industry need to be made. In addition, there is the possibility of being asked to perform repair work on existing ships or steelwork in workshops.- Working as an ironworker/metalworker at DB Work at various locations (shipyards and workshops).- Applying your knowledge of steel and welding techniques to various projects.- Building the hull of luxury passenger yachts.- Assembling and welding sections for cruise ships.- Construction work in mechanical engineering or offshore.- Reading technical drawings and assembling independently.- Maintenance and repair of steelwork on ships.

Requirements

You have knowledge of metalworking/ironwork through education or work experience.

You can read technical drawings and translate them into practice.

You are eager to learn, enthusiastic, and not afraid of heavy work.

You can work independently but also function well within a crew.
