HOYA - KAM Global Key Account (AMSTERDAM)
Key Responsibilities:
Key contact Category MGT team:
Lead the strategic relationship with HQ and country level; build relationships across assortment, operations, and retail teams; craft account plans that enhance the strategic partnership with the client.
Assortment & Category Management:
Propose and advise on the annual product introduction calendar; coordinate new product introductions (face‑in, pricing, and communication to the client); manage product phase‑outs (face‑out) in collaboration with the Technical Product Manager; monitor assortment performance and recommend optimizations based on sales mix and customer feedback; support in‑store execution and prepare staff training related to new products or other requirements.
Business Performance:
Track sales performance per month, KPIs, product mix, and service levels; manage forecasting and volume planning in cooperation with Business Planning & Forecast; prepare quarterly meetings and monthly reports for management.
Lead cross‑functional projects:
Project management of initiatives such as digital ordering platforms, implementations of new instruments, training programmes, and other cross‑functional projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Key Account Management / Category Management, preferably within medical, optics, devices, FMCG or retail.
Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset, proficient with Excel and BI tools.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
Results‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, international environment.
Influencing skills; able to align multiple stakeholders and drive consensus on strategic initiatives.
Project Management skills.
Fluent in Dutch.
