Position Type: Contract (Onsite) Location: Utrecht, Netherlands Job Description: Expert knowledge and experience with Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of Banking/finance is an advantage. Expert knowledge of relational databases like SQL DB and Oracle. Knowledge and experience with SQL, Python, or Scala is a must. Data formats like JSON, Parquet, XML, and REST API are familiar to you. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus) for automated build & test; knowledge of Azure DevOps is an asset. Experience in testing and automation is an advantage. Experience and knowledge of migration to Azure cloud and Power BI are nice to have. The Data Engineer role is crucial in our Data tribe. You will be part of the Data Engineering Chapter, responsible for efficient and qualitative data ingestion processes. You will define, implement, and adapt these processes to stay up-to-date with technological evolutions. As a Data Engineer, you will grow continuously by collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, building a network, learning new technologies, and developing interpersonal skills. You will work within an agile team (squad), following agile practices, and interact with IT and business colleagues (architects, analysts, project managers, data scientists) to contribute to our enterprise roadmap. Your responsibilities range from development, analysis, and modeling to solution design, allowing for role evolution and a motivating environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust, high-performance, scalable, and flexible data pipelines with a focus on quick delivery and quality. Develop and maintain solutions in Microsoft Azure to ensure fast, flexible, and robust data solutions for statistics. Contribute to solution quality, coordinate with specialists, and advise on the technical design of the Azure environment, including hands-on implementation. Build and maintain logical and technical data models, ETL software, and business logic within a DevOps framework. Manage and optimize data architecture, implement data processes, design ETL workflows, and analyze data to derive business insights. Align team workflows and implement standards across the Agile team in collaboration with Scrum members.
