We are recruiting

two

newly-created positions in support of a global food business that is redesigning its indirect procurement function, a process with full CEO sponsorship. The roles are business critical and part of a significant investment into end-to-end supply chain globally. You will take the lead on designing and implementing procurement strategy, driving process improvements, stakeholder engagement, and KPI design & implementation across all regions.

This business aims to maximise the value of strategic procurement to deliver maximum value for consumers worldwide. You will create indirect procurement processes across key categories including Capex, MRO, Facilities Management and Site Services, introduce new technologies and tools, and work within a new strategic procurement team. The primary mission is to ensure successful customer outcomes and create long-term value.

The ideal applicant will have expert procurement knowledge and strategic sourcing/category management experience within one of the key categories, with specific expertise in designing new procurement strategies. The role requires strong influencing and communication skills. The business is growing rapidly, so a keen interest in continuous improvement, utilising procurement for growth, and driving change and sustainability makes for an ideal candidate.

Create innovative procurement strategies, processes and guidelines and effect change across the global business

Build lasting and effective relationships with stakeholders in key internal functions

Benchmark procurement performance and deliver value‑add initiatives in partnership with key internal communities

Experience required:

Food industry experience is strongly preferred

Strong global strategic sourcing experience and expert-level knowledge of indirect sourcing

Effective communication across different levels and functions of the business

Appetite and desire to drive large-scale, transformative change within procurement
