As an
Inside Sales Specialist , this role will have primary duty for driving Chemistry Consumables Products sales of our full range of solutions and services within the Belgian and Dutch market space. The desired candidate should be a self-starter who is focused on customer success.
Responsibilities
Work in a matrix environment, driving sales growth of Chemistry Consumables products, both objectively and collaboratively in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Identify new prospect companies within the territory and develop a strategy to engage and introduce them to the Waters consumables portfolio.
Investigate dormant accounts to re-stimulate growth.
Increase market share in up‑and‑coming accounts, building advocacy for Waters consumable technology through customer success.
Meet daily and weekly productivity metrics (phone calls, phone attempts, e‑mail, etc.).
Work closely with field sales colleagues, capital sales colleagues, business development and marketing to deliver a high degree of customer service and technical expertise.
Utilize Waters’ internal CRM database as a tool for tracking sales activities, open opportunities and campaign follow‑up initiatives.
Deliver concise and relevant reports and updates on business development initiatives.
Occasionally travel to the specified sales territory to support customer visits, seminars, internal planning meetings, etc.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree, Masters, or PhD in a scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
Experience
Advantageous to have experience with technical sales, particularly in Chemistry Consumables.
UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing experience is a plus.
Market experience is a plus.
