Document and Compliance Engineer

Document and Compliance Engineer At Gorman-Rupp, we build pumps, and not small ones! We can easily handle 3 million litres per hour. We are building more and more of them, and they are becoming increasingly sophisticated. To keep pace with this growth and to ensure that our designs and the associated documentation are always meticulously prepared, we are looking for a Document and Compliance Engineer. Your tasks and responsibilities: You will write user manuals using the necessary software tools. You will do this in multiple languages, using advanced translation capabilities. You will ensure standardisation and well-structured storage of documents. You will research standards and regulations that must be applied to our pump sets. You will advise your colleagues in the engineering department on standards and regulations. You will develop and manage the processes surrounding the certification of our pump sets. This includes CE and ATEX processes. You actively contribute new ideas on how to better convey technical information to our customers.

What do we require from you? A technical background with demonstrable experience at higher professional education level. Preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics. Communication skills and a fluent writing style. Good command of the Dutch and English languages. Experience with 3D CAD software. (We work with SolidEdge) Experience with machine safety and CE certification.
