Business Development Manager – Surgical & Diagnostic We are looking for two dedicated Business Development Managers to support our eye‑care division in hospitals and clinics. In this versatile role you will focus on all activities within the ophthalmology department, visiting locations and interacting with diverse stakeholders such as ophthalmologists, department heads, procurement, medical technology and other users of diagnostic and operating‑room products.

Responsibilities

Build and manage relationships with key decision makers across hospitals and clinics.

Provide advisory support throughout purchase cycles—including procurement of specific equipment and the setup of new facilities.

Understand internal product portfolio and market dynamics to translate business needs into viable solutions.

Lead the sales process from initial contact to closing contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to deliver customized proposals.

Report on sales performance, market trends and forecast future opportunities.

Qualifications

HBO work‑ and thinking level.

Proactive attitude and strong communication skills.

Creative, initiative‑driven and a proactive business developer.

Excellent listening skills, able to translate questions into clear advice.

Relevant experience in medical device sales or business development preferred.
