Social Media Manager (Freelance)

We believe the future is plant-based, and great content helps bring that future closer, faster. That’s why we’re looking for a social media manager bursting with creative ideas, energy, and a passion for storytelling and all things plant-based for our Vivera ánd The Vegetarian Butcher social channels (Meta/LinkedIn/TikTok).

Are you someone who can effortlessly switch between filming, photography, editing, writing, and brainstorming new formats? Someone who knows what’s happening on social, spots trends instantly, and can act quickly when plant-based news breaks? Then we want you on our team!

In this role, you’ll split your time roughly 50/50 between our central content agenda (50) and our content agenda for the Netherlands (50). This includes creating visuals, content planning, brainstorming, community management, in-store shoots, recipe content, BTS moments, short copywriting, and much more. In short, you’ll be the creative heart translating our message into sharp, fresh, recognizable content, fully in line with our brand guidelines. And of course, you’ll work closely with our marketing, PR, and content teams.

1. Central Agenda Content Creation (50%) Produce static + video content (film or photography done by you) Brainstorming about new formats Basic editing in Adobe Voice-overs for content videos if needed Deliver all content in line with the brand guidelines

2. Social media manager NL (50%) Create and publish content for NL market. Content planning & -creation Maintaining, updating and aligning the content calendar Brainstorming about new formats (video, photo, social series) Upload and schedule content across platforms Writing short-form copy for captions, titles and scripts Monitoring trending sounds, formats and platform developments, and it is important to stay on top of developments within plant-based Read articles, follow trends within plant-based recipes/dishes/conversations on social Producing various types of content (in-store, recipe content, BTS, etc.) Coordinate with Content Managers/Marketing/PR. Community management Respond to comments and messages in the right tone of voice. Identify important reactions or issues when necessary.
