Artificial Intelligence Intern

3 months, extendable. Key Responsibilities

Research emerging AI trends and prepare internal papers, reports and presentations. Explore and prototype AI tools through rapid, low-effort prototypes and contribute to a Prompt Catalogue. Document and share learnings with the OCHA‑AI community. Collaborate with OCHA teams to gather insights on AI projects and maintain content for the OCHA AI Intranet site. Support community engagement: update materials, answer inquiries, and coordinate regular meetings, workshops, and webinars. Identify and promote AI‑related training opportunities and produce short summaries or videos demonstrating approved tools. Qualifications

Enrolled in, or completed, a graduate programme or final year of a first university degree (minimum bachelor’s). Strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience with AI tools or technologies, including prompt engineering or prototyping. Research and analysis skills and experience in community engagement and knowledge sharing. Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in English is required. Additional Information

Interns are not financially remunerated. Travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions. Interns who are not citizens or permanent residents of the country where the internship is undertaken may be required to obtain the appropriate visa and work/employment authorization.
