As a QA Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving internal quality systems, ensuring product quality, food safety, and hygiene standards, always working closely with colleagues across different departments and in the production floor.
You\'ll also work hands-on with inspections, audits, and training, contributing to compliance with food safety standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities:
Manage and maintain internal quality systems such as BRC, HACCP, and GMP.
Prepare, conduct, and follow up on internal and external audits.
Perform quality checks and inspections on the production floor.
Analyze and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and inquiries.
Provide internal training sessions on food safety and quality awareness.
Act as an advisor and point of contact for colleagues across departments.
Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Food Technology, Food Science or a related field.
Proven experience in the food industry and knowledge of food safety systems.
Familiarity with HACCP, BRC, and specification management.
Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships.
Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
MUST HAVE:
Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
