Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join a key client of ours on a long term project in Netherlands. This position will require someone to join on a hybrid basis and can commit to 3 days on site with the rest of the work to be done remotely and our customer are offering a 6-12 month initial contract + possibly extensions.

We are looking for the following: You have completed a university degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics or a similar field; You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience; Experience with and knowledge of programming languages such as Python (including pandas, scikit-learn) and/or R and good command of SQL for data extraction and exploration; You have demonstrable experience in statistical analysis, machine learning and AI, including techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis and deep learning; You have experience working in Jupyter and/or Snowflake / Databricks notebooks for data analysis, exploration and prototyping; You have knowledge of model version control, A/B testing, and model performance monitoring; You have experience with version control and collaboration in development teams, for example with Git and/or Azure DevOps; Experience with cloud environments and analytical platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse or BigQuery is a plus; You have good problem-solving skills and you can communicate complex problems clearly, both orally and in writing; You possess strong communication and presentation skills and are organizationally sensitive. A good command of Dutch is essential.
