What to Expect
The Traineeship Casemanager is one of the trainee programs within the Social Security and Care unit. We serve people who need temporary or long‑term help in the social security domain and who benefit from guidance to become self‑reliant again. We work for income insurers, occupational health services and municipal social domains.
The traineeship focuses on structured onboarding, experience acquisition, specialization at insurers, occupational health services and large employers, and a comprehensive training program that makes you an expert in employee re‑integration, covering the WIPW, Ziektewet and/or WIA.
After about a year and a half you can step into the role of casemanager, having gained broad experience and completed the required training.
Responsibilities
Act as the coordinator of the re‑integration process, mapping stakeholders’ interests and weighing them carefully.
Facilitate care and support for employers and employees, ensuring everyone understands responsibilities.
Ensure rights and obligations around sickness absence are clear and complied with.
Engage professionals at the right time – company doctors, managers, occupational health services, job coaches – and monitor progress.
Build a secure file that meets all legal requirements.
Introduce structure, clarity and momentum into complex situations to create impact for companies, employees, insurers and society.
Work initially in the financial services sector at leading firms (e.g., Nationale Nederlanden, Aon, Achmea, Univé, a.s.r., Allianz) and later in casemanagement roles with insurers or occupational health services.
Qualifications
Holder of an HBO or WO diploma or in the final stage of studies, available for 32‑40 hours per week.
Entry‑level professional focused on both professional and personal growth.
Social, honest and decisive.
Flexible, enthusiastic about deployment and willing to travel, with the possibility to work hybrid.
