About Kanvaz AI Labs
Kanvaz AI Labs is the product technology & R&D innovation arm of Kanvaz. We are building a diagnostic-grade analytics engine that helps global companies unlock hidden value across their supply chain. Our mission is to transform "data-rich but insight-poor" environments into lean, purpose-built intelligence ecosystems.
We value outcomes over output and impact over everything else.
The Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Intern who is obsessed with clarity. You won’t just be making pretty buttons— you will be helping us design the interfaces that help global leaders decide where to move millions of dollars in inventory and cost. You will work closely with our founders, data scientists, and engineers to turn complex supply chain logic into intuitive, high-fidelity digital products.
Key Responsibilities
Visualizing Data:
Translate complex supply chain metrics (COGS, inventory levels, performance gaps) into clean, actionable dashboards and visualizations.
Prototyping:
Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes in
Figma
to test new features and logic.
User Research:
Assist in gathering feedback from industry experts (the "operators") to refine our diagnostic engine's usability.
Design System:
Contribute to and maintain our growing UI component library to ensure consistency across our web platforms.
Iterative Design:
Participate in rapid design sprints, moving from a rough concept to a pixel-perfect mockup in a fast-paced startup environment.
Figma (Advanced):
You should be a master of Auto-Layout, Component Properties, and Variables. We expect you to build responsive layouts that don't break when the data changes.
Prototyping:
Proficiency in high-fidelity prototyping tools (e.g.,
Protopie ,
Framer , or advanced
Figma prototyping ) to demonstrate complex AI interactions and transitions.
AI-Augmented Design:
Experience using AI tools (like
Midjourney ,
Relume , or
Magician ) to accelerate your workflow, from generating assets to automating repetitive tasks.
Visual Communication:
Strong skills in the
Adobe Creative Suite
(specifically Illustrator and Photoshop) for custom iconography and brand-level visual assets.
Motion Design:
Ability to use
After Effects
or
Lottie
to create micro-interactions that provide feedback for AI processing states (e.g., "AI is thinking" animations).
No-Code/Low-Code:
Familiarity with
Webflow
or
Framer Sites
to help us spin up landing pages or internal tools quickly.
Design-to-Code:
Understanding of how designs translate to
React
or
Tailwind CSS
so you can hand off specs that engineers actually love.
What We’re Looking For
Portfolio:
A strong portfolio (academic or personal) showcasing your process—from messy sketches to polished UI.
AI Curiosity:
An interest in how AI can enhance user experience, rather than just being a buzzword.
The "Why":
You don't just follow instructions; you ask "Why does the user need this?" and "How can we make this simpler?"
Background:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Bonus Points
Experience with data visualization libraries or tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js knowledge).
A basic understanding of supply chain or logistics.
Ability to write basic HTML/CSS to understand the technical feasibility of your designs.
Why Join Us?
Real Impact:
Your designs will be used by Fortune 500-level advisors and operators.
Mentorship:
Work directly with seasoned industry experts and technologists.
Startup Speed:
Gain 1 year of experience in 3 months. We move fast, we learn fast, and we celebrate wins together.
