Role Description:
As
Business Development Manager, West-Europe , you will be involved in the strategic and relational management of distributors and International Key Accounts in West-Europe. Building on the existing distribution network, you will play a significant role in achieving substantial growth in key countries like Germany, France & Italy. Our focus will be on offline and omni channel business in major Sales channels like Food, DIY, CES and value-for-money segments. Next to that you will play a leading role for the MRO / Institutional business within Europe.
This role is office based at our Venlo office, in The Netherlands. Hybrid working would be considered if the right candidate living further away Venlo of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Create and implement business development strategies to achieve the team objective of market share growth in key sales channels
Work closely with the Vice President Europe and our exclusive distributor for the region, you will drive growth programs combined with agreed marketing programs
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in existing and new channels
Drive the teams of our chosen distribution partner to extend the brand reach and help support and grow that mutual business
Support the local implementation of Group Marketing led promotions and new product development/product extension
Conduct sales trainings and product demonstrations at key trade and/or consumer events when required
Be the “eyes and ears” of the market and the customer, detailing your findings and reporting back to the business
To succeed in this role, you will be:
Highly experienced in Sales/Marketing roles in FMCG
Degree preferred in Business/Marketing or related disciplines or equivalent level experience
Excellent communication skills and an effective presenter to both internal and external audiences / stakeholders
Proven track record of new business wins and sales growth achieved
MS Office proficiency - good PowerPoint, Word & Excel skills

Positive working attitude and self-motivated; take initiative to achieve agreed targets without strong guidance from management.
Fluent in English (additional languages German, French and Italian are a plus).
