Senior Lab Technician

to join its Development Facility in Eindhoven.

As Senior Lab Technician, you will combine practical laboratory work with technical responsibility for developing, validating, and executing standardized test methods.

You will contribute to both internal R&D and external contract research projects, ensuring robust experimental design, reliable data generation, and compliance with applicable quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485 and/or GLP).

Key Responsibilities Perform material fabrication and material characterization experiments within R&D and contract research projects Develop, optimize, and validate standardized test methods and protocols Design and execute validation and verification studies in line with regulatory requirements Troubleshoot and resolve technical or experimental challenges using a structured and analytical approach Analyze, interpret, and report experimental data to project leads Communicate technical findings clearly to internal stakeholders and external customers Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with quality standards Support customers working within shared laboratory facilities Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory processes and capabilities Each project is unique, offering a diverse and intellectually stimulating workload within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific field 2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience, ideally within materials science or biomaterials Experience developing and executing validated test methods Experience working within ISO 13485 and/or GLP regulated environments Strong hands-on laboratory skills combined with analytical thinking Structured and detail-oriented approach to documentation and quality compliance Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams Fluent in English (written and spoken)
