General Ledger Accountant

GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT

The Opportunity: Dixstone Group, a fast-growing multinational in the energy services sector, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team during a key phase of growth and transformation. This position will report directly to the Accounting Lead.

Key Responsibilities: Support the monthly close process, ensuring timely delivery of internal and external reporting. Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions. Prepare accurate journal entries in compliance with company policies. Analyze monthly balance sheet fluctuations. Maintain clear documentation and workpapers for key financial processes. Monitor and support critical accounting areas such as fixed assets and payroll. Address internal and external audit requests promptly. Assist with group reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly via HFM, and annual reporting). Handle ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders or external parties as needed.

Key competences: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proactive and adaptable with a hands-on attitude. High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking. Experience with SAP and strong financial reporting skills. Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritise multiple tasks. Professional discretion and confidentiality. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an asset. Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably in the services sector. Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
